inspiring safer spaces for all
"Me-Time" focuses on the social/emotional and academic health of young people and is designed to enhance achievement as well as the self-advocacy of students and families to dismantle "perception gaps" that stand to thwart student success. The program is provided at no cost to participants and is delivered as enrichment services and/or mentorships.
The Me-Time Program has been recognized and endorsed by LCPS teachers and administrators, reaching full capacity during each of its active seasons. The bonds created through activities, events, and mentorships--since the inception of the program on Valentine’s Day 2009--has been the most rewarding of all. In addition, Loudoun Diversity Council has also partnered with local high-schools to provide volunteer opportunities for high-school students.
As we celebrate the diversity of each child and tutor, Loudoun Diversity Council continues to encourage positive, productive relationships between students, parents and their communities.
